As Flappers & Pearls evolves we celebrate our latest coporate catering. On last week, our very own Latoya Morehead or Chef F & P she likes to call herself won over the Staff at the elustrious Tennessee State University. "I was asked by my co-worker if I wanted a corpoate gig", says Latoya when she was asked about catering a coporate event. Latoya, who's a self-taught cook told her co-worker, "of course, what's the budget, who's the catering for, and when is the event". Soon afterwards Latoya was asked to prepare forms to become a vendor and submit a formal quote to Tennessee State University. Yes, the corporate event was for Tennessee State University's 2nd Annual Staff Senate Mixer. As fate would have it Flappers & Pearls was selected for the "gig" and those services were provided on last Thursday, June 15, 2023. The menu boasted of our famous phillycheesesteak sliders, hot spinach artichoke dip, american cold cut wraps, Summer madness spinach salad, Parmesean pasta salad, complete with our Chick'n Salad crostini's. The entire process from idea to service was amazing. We would like to express our gratitude to TSU Foundation and organizer Reginal Cannon who assisted with the Staff Senate.
